Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Rhona Goskirk faces some difficult conversations with Marlon Dingle next week, as news of Pierce Harris's death reaches the village.
Rhona (Zoe Henry) recently received a shock when she was sent a note from her abusive ex-husband Pierce, who was serving a life sentence in prison, telling her that he was dying and wanted help to find his son, Marcus Dean (Darcy Grey), before he passed away.
Rhona ended up agreeing to help and she managed to track down Marcus and break the news to him, despite some serious reservations from Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick).

Later on, Rhona and Vanessa are forced to admit to Marlon and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) that they were already aware of Pierce's death. However, Rhona doesn't feel ready to tell Marlon the full story of what has happened – which includes the recent visit from Marcus.
Marlon picks up on Rhona's distant mood and apologises to her for making everything about him recently, following all the drama with The Woolpack's ownership.

Marlon suggests that the couple enjoy a meet-up at the café together and Rhona's guilt over the situation with Marcus weighs ever more heavily on her as she continues to keep quiet.
Later on, Rhona arrives at the café to discover that Marlon has prepared a romantic dinner for the pair of them and she is grateful for his sweet gesture.
She decides that the time has come to reveal all to Marlon about her contact with Marcus, but will she manage to tell Marlon the truth before Marcus shows up in the village?

Newcomer Darcy Grey has already spoken about how excited he is to be taking on the role of Marcus, saying that landing the role was "one of those pinch-yourself moments we actors simply dream of".
"For Marcus, the battle of being torn between wanting to forget his relationship with his Dad but also ultimately, wanting to simply be loved is a challenge many of us face, and one that I hope I can bring some truth to.
"He is such an open book, with such an uncertain future that I just can't wait for you all to see where his journey in the village takes him!"
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, February 21 on ITV.
