Emmerdale's Vinny Dingle and Liv Flaherty in big proposal mix-up

Emmerdale's Vinny Dingle and Liv Flaherty will face another hurdle in their relationship next week when a mix-up leads to Liv abandoning their romantic Valentine's Day plans.

After he and Liv (Isobel Steele) recently got back together following her prison ordeal, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) is busy planning a Valentine's Day to remember.

Unfortunately, Liv is about to have an unpleasant encounter in The Hide. She is left in shock when some teenagers approach her and ask to take a photo with her, claiming that she is "famous" for allegedly killing Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) – a crime which was actually committed by Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).

Thankfully, Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) is on hand to defend Liv and she throws the teenagers out of The Hide.

Later on, Vinny and Liv enjoy playing video games together at home and Liv thanks Vinny for taking her mind off the ordeal with the cruel teenagers.

But when Vinny suddenly presents her with a jewellery box, Liv is mortified when she misinterprets his romantic gift as a marriage proposal.

Feeling embarrassed by her mistake, Liv quickly rushes off back to work and Vinny feels disappointed that his romantic gesture backfired so spectacularly.

The couple's relationship has been very up and down in the past but they had seemed to be back on solid ground in recent weeks, particularly after Vinny's determined efforts to prove Liv's innocence over Ben's murder.

Will Vinny be able to make things up to Liv after this latest setback or will it cause another major falling-out?
