Emmerdale's Cain Dingle left devastated as Kyle goes missing

Emmerdale's Cain Dingle will be distraught next week when his young son Kyle Winchester goes missing following a huge row between Cain and Al Chapman.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Al's (Michael Wildman) feud has been simmering for quite some time now, with their animosity having also dragged in other members of their families.

In scenes to air next week, their relationship becomes even more unpleasant when Cain discovers that Al is moving in with his new love interest Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), which means that Al will also be living with Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and his own son, Kyle (Huey Quinn), who he shares with Amy.

Cain is furious over the new arrangement, which leads Amy to threaten a custody battle with Cain if he continues to meddle in her life.

Cain's wife Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) tries to pacify Amy, promising her that she will try and get through to Cain, but, with Al enjoying deliberately antagonising the situation, Cain is unlikely to back down anytime soon.

Al soon decides to stir things up even further by suggesting that Amy send Cain a solicitor's letter, but will Amy rise to the bait and upset Cain even more?

Meanwhile, Moira is trying to persuade Cain to forget about his feud with Al and focus more on his relationship with Kyle, but Cain simply refuses to get on board with enemy Al living in the same house as his son.

Eventually, Cain and Amy agree to stick to their original visitation plan and keep solicitors out of the situation, leaving Moira proud that Cain hasn't risen to Al's baiting of him.

When Amy confirms that she and Cain are sticking to their original arrangement, Al tries to hide his disappointment – but a sneaky idea soon forms in his mind as he comes up with another way to wind up Cain.

Unbeknownst to anyone else, Al secretly gives Kyle his old phone and the boy quickly pockets it. Later on, Cain catches Kyle asking Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) to buy him a top-up card from the shop and Cain's rage boils over when Kyle tells him that it was Al who gave him the phone.
