Emmerdale star Anna Nightingale has responded to the rumour that two of her co-stars had an on-set row.
Recently published allegations claimed that Matthew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins, who play on-screen couple David Metcalfe and Victoria Sugden, disagreed over a comment made on set during the recent waterfall stunt for Super Soap Week.
It was reported that filming was temporarily halted while the producers investigated the issue.
Nightingale, whose character Andrea Tate was killed off in the same week's episodes, said that the high pressure of shooting those scenes could easily push the cast over the edge.

The intense episodes were all filmed at a waterfall at Tees Barrage water park in Stockton-on-Tees.
The actress added that these special scenes up the pressure even further because of the dangerous stunts and hard work required.

"I wasn't working with the cast involved, so I can't comment on the specifics," she explained. "But I know that under those circumstances it wouldn't take very much for people to get to that place."
Thankfully, the pair have since been seen on social media hugging and calling each other "BFFs". So, if there were tensions, it seems it's all water under the bridge now.
Nightingale also said: "I've checked in with people on the show since who say things are good. And Matthew and Izzy are best mates, so I'm sure they will be supporting each other."
