Al Chapman continues to meddle with the village in next week's Emmerdale – and this time, he's set to turn his attention to Chas Dingle and The Woolpack.
As the scheming businessman continues to make changes to the pub, Al finds himself in Paddy and Marlon Dingle's bad books, after he hires his son Ellis without their approval.
With tension mounting between the trio, another spanner is thrown in the works when Trevor, a rep for a new brewery, arrives at the pub for a beer tasting.

An unimpressed Marlon fails to hide his feelings about the situation, but a forgiving Chas is quickly won over and prepares to sign a contract with Trevor's brewery.

Later, Al decides to unveil a new staff uniform for the team at The Woolpack, but not without directing a flirtatious comment at Chas while he does.
At first, Chas tells Al that he's overstepped the mark with his flirty behaviour, prompting a seemingly sincere apology from the investor.

Al's real motives are revealed, however, when he learns that Paddy is away. As Paddy attends a course elsewhere, Al invites Chas to a business dinner.
Despite Chas' earlier warning, Al uses the opportunity to shower her with compliments – an approach that may be starting to work its magic on Chas.
