In next week's Emmerdale episodes, Meena's on a mission to kill Victoria in one of the show's most dramatic weeks yet. As the villagers take part in a survival challenge, several lives are in danger.

With stunts galore, deadly white water rapids, twists and turns – just who will make it out alive?

Here at the seven big moments to watch.

1. Survival week begins

One of Emmerdale's most ambitious, stunt filled weeks begins with a flashforward revealing Meena lying motionless in the middle of a maize maze. A day of competitive fun has turned deadly.

Back to the present, we see the challenge begin with both teams full of excitement. Team leaders Billy and Ben drum up enthusiasm in their groups as they all jump into rafts, ready to set off down the river.

2. Meena tampers with Victoria's harness

After overhearing David's love confession to Victoria, Meena has murder in mind and she tampers with her abseiling harness.

But Meena's plans soon fall apart and she floods with fear when Manpreet takes the damaged harness instead.

3. Meena's ready to kill whoever gets in her way

As the terror of the week unfolds, we see Meena drowning Victoria, but someone catches Meena in the act.

Determined to get away with her murderous behaviour, Meena follows the mysterious witness to find out what they've seen and they end up in the maze.

Ruthless Meena won't let anyone get in her way and she prepares to kill again…

4. Marlon and Paddy get lost

Meena's targets aren't the only ones in danger this week as the survival challenge, with its menacing waters and difficult tasks, put relationships to the test.

Marlon and Paddy are already on the back foot as they arrive late and struggle to catch up with their teammates.

As they attempt to work their way through the woods, they get lost, and their frustrations with each other's incompetence boil over.

5. Priya and Ellis get carried away with lust

Despite being in charge of the day's events, Priya and Ellis have other things on their mind as they flirt and tease each other.

Unaware of the terrible events about to unfold, the smitten pair head into the woods to have sex.

Ellis and Priya share a tender moment afterwards before she heads off to drop off the survival challenge prize at the centre of the maze. Could Priya be about to put her life in danger?

6. Charity and Mack try to cheat

Frustrated by playing by the rules, Mack and Charity decide to split up from their teams and work together to cheat.

Later on, Mack hears a terrifying scream coming from the edge of a pond and he sees ripples moving across the water.

Thinking the worst, Mack is horrified thinking Charity has vanished beneath the surface.

7. Multiple villagers fight for their life

Emmerdale bosses have promised a week full of twists and turns, with stunts including white water rapids, custom built mazes and one big top secret stunt.

As the week's events unfold with Meena set to kill, at least one village will lose their life.

David, Victoria, Manpreet and Charles all find themselves struggling to survive in the deadly waters, but who will make it out of this survival challenge alive?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
