Emmerdale's Meena catches out David in Victoria love declaration

Emmerdale's Meena Jutla will catch out boyfriend David Metcalfe next week as he confesses his love to Victoria Barton – setting the wheels in motion for potential tragedy during the upcoming Super Soap Week.

In scenes to air next week, Meena (Paige Sandhu)'s obsession with keeping Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) and David (Matthew Wolfenden) apart grows stronger, as she continues to manipulate David in an attempt to position herself as the only woman in his life.

Victoria is keen to get to the bottom of what exactly is going on with Meena and David, and so she quietly slips into Farrers Barn to check on David – but is confused when she sees that his bed is empty.

Suddenly, the door opens and Victoria panics and tries to hide in the bedroom. Unfortunately for Victoria, Meena spots her.

When Meena starts to undress, an awkward Victoria is forced to reveal herself. David is furious, and warns Victoria not to come back until she's sorted herself out.

However, things take a rather different turn later in the week as people begin to turn up at the base camp for the survival challenge that Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) and Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony) have planned.

With the event about to get underway, David covertly confesses his love to Victoria – and as they walk away, we see that Meena has heard every single word of David's declaration of love.

Scheming Meena soon sets a plan in motion to murder Victoria...

With ITV's Super Soap Week airing the week after these scenes, and Emmerdale having confirmed that at least one character won't survive the dramatic week, it looks like Victoria could be in very real danger from killer Meena.
