Emmerdale's dangerous Meena Jutla will make a sinister plan in upcoming scenes, as she sets her sights on David Metcalfe's young son, Theo.
Meena (Paige Sandhu) is still enjoying a romance with David (Matthew Wolfenden), who has no idea that she is responsible for killing Leanna Cavanagh, and she has made it quite clear that she will stop at nothing to have David to herself as much as possible, no matter who gets in her way.
In scenes to air next week, David and Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) – who recently shared a secret intimate moment – are both struggling with childcare arrangements and they soon find themselves fighting over the last place at their preferred nursery.

It isn't long before an awkward Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) admits that her daughter Eve has been given the place, leaving David and Victoria scrambling to find an alternative arrangement. The pair soon come up with a solution, drawing up a rota for mutual childcare.

That afternoon, Meena turns up to see David dressed for seduction, hoping to share a steamy afternoon with him, but she is furious to find out that he is babysitting the kids.
Realising that she will need to play her cards right, Meena phones David the next day to offer to look after Theo. But when she sees that he has rejected her call in order to continue talking to Victoria, she is overcome with jealousy and anger.

Later on, it's Victoria's turn to watch the kids and she briefly leaves Theo downstairs to go and check on her own son, Harry, upstairs.
Spotting an opportunity, Meena creeps into the house through the back door and looms over little Theo.
When Victoria returns, she is horrified to find that Theo has vanished and that the baby gate and back door are both open. Victoria rushes into the garden in panic and, with no sign of Theo, she starts to scream.

As word spreads about Theo's disappearance, a desperate search ensues in the village and David is frantic as he looks for his missing son.
Will Meena manage to cause a rift between David and Victoria with her nasty behaviour?
David actor Matthew Wolfenden recently revealed that he thinks David and Victoria could be in "real danger" if Meena finds out about their spark, saying: "You do not cross Meena, and if you do so, you do it at your own peril."
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing August 16 on ITV.
