Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Nicola and Jimmy King fear for the wellbeing of their son Carl next week after his biological mum Juliette Holliday drops a new bombshell.
In recent months, Juliette has been spending time with Carl after deciding that she wanted to be part of his life following years of estrangement.
Next week's episodes see Juliette reappear in the village to deliver another piece of shocking news, which looks set to change everything.
It's then left to Nicola and Jimmy to tell Carl what's going on.

While we can't give away the exact details until the episode airs, Nicola and Jimmy are worried that Juliette's news will adversely affect Carl.
They try their best to reassure Carl that he's safe and wanted, hoping this will be enough.
The following day, Nicola and Jimmy struggle with Carl.
Nicola tells Jimmy that he'll have to move back into the family home, but she makes it clear that it'll only be for Carl. She recently ended her marriage to Jimmy after months of tension between them.

Jimmy is hopeful to be back home, still believing that he can win Nicola over again. But will his optimism be short-lived?
Nicola Wheeler, who plays Nicola, recently hinted at this storyline and the possibility of a reunion for the Kings.
Asked whether they could work things out, Nicola told Digital Spy and other media: "I think there's scope for them to get back together. When Jimmy's head turned towards Mandy, he was in a very difficult place at the time. He was going through a lot of emotional turmoil and feeling guilt over the death of Paul.
"I would say sometimes, life can throw a curveball, and that's what is going to happen. Maybe it's not about those two anymore – and that's what is going to happen in the future. It's not just about their relationship, it's about the kids and what they can do for the kids."
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, August 9 and Tuesday, August 10 at 7pm on ITV.
