Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Kim Tate fires her shotgun at a mystery character next week as she fears for her safety.
The shock incident takes place as Kim (Claire King) starts to feel increasingly anxious as a result of her ongoing poisoning ordeal.
Viewers know that Kim's decanter of brandy has been repeatedly spiked at Home Farm, but as she has a number of enemies at the moment, the culprit's identity remains a mystery.
Early next week, Kim becomes stressed over her worries and takes her anger out on Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).

Gabby is not pleased over this and privately warns Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) that she won't be pushed around by Kim for much longer.
Kim also has to deal with problems from her HOP colleagues Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), who are livid over her lack of focus on the job.
With the business starting to suffer, Jai and Al want answers over Kim's behaviour.

Kim manages to fob them off, but worries when she watches back some security footage and hears the moment that Gabby threatened revenge earlier on.
Later in the week, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) turns up at Home Farm to check on Kim.
Kim is growing increasingly paranoid and doesn't welcome Will's presence, so she tells him to leave.

Symptoms from the drugs then begin to take hold as Kim hears phantom intruders. Believing that she's under threat, Kim clutches her shotgun for protection.
The next day, Kim finds herself in another row as she clashes with her son Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) and his love interest Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) at The Hide.
Jamie threatens revenge on Kim after the argument, leaving Dawn concerned that he's being drawn into more scheming.

Dawn fears Kim's influence on Jamie and confides in her father Will, warning that she's prepared to sort out Kim herself if Will doesn't take action soon.
Not long afterwards, Kim watches the CCTV system and spots an unknown figure entering Home Farm.
Kim is terrified, so fires her gun at the intruder. Will there be a casualty and who is this mystery arrival?
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, May 27 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
