Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has been revisiting Belle Dingle's mental health issues recently, and she hit a setback in her recovery during Friday's (October 23) instalment.
Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has been hearing her late mother Lisa Dingle's voice in her head. The experience has been terrifying for her and resulted in her trying to bury her mum's ashes in the village graveyard, hoping that would silence the voice.

Tonight, Nate Robinson went to the graveyard with Belle as she dug the ashes back up and insisted she was doing much better.
"I'm fine, I just need to get mum's ashes back before anyone sees. I knew I shouldn't have moved them here, but I couldn't deal with her going on at me," she said.
Belle told Nate (Jurell Carter) that her mental health counsellor explained why it could be happening and reminded her that it was important to take her medication while also giving her some coping mechanisms to use if it happened again.
Later, Nate spotted Belle again. She once again assured him that she was alright and she was just on her way home with the ashes.

However, as he left, viewers saw Belle hearing the voice again and, even more worryingly, agreeing to keep it a secret.
"She thinks she can hear Lisa. Belle finds that massively comforting. I don't think she really realises that she's ill. Because it's her mum, she just thinks it's great," Eden Taylor-Draper recently explained.
"But then her mum says she has to get revenge and that it's all about getting her own back. Belle starts to do things that aren't right and that aren't Belle. She doesn't understand why her mum wants her to do those things, but because it's her mum, she trusts it and goes with it. That's when it becomes serious."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
