Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick has welcomed a baby boy with wife Kate Brooks.
The Vanessa Woodfield actress announced the happy news on social media on Sunday (October 11), sharing two images of their newborn son, Edward 'Teddy' Peter Brooks.
"On Friday 9th October, this handsome little chap entered the world," she wrote on Instagram.

Michelle and Kate, who is a series producer on the soap, got engaged back in 2018, before tying the knot a year later. The couple have now become parents for the first time.
The actress announced the news of pregnancy back in April, sharing a picture of her growing baby bump.

Michelle made her departure from Emmerdale earlier this year as she prepared to go on maternity leave.
Her character Vanessa is facing a difficult time following her bowel cancer diagnosis, and was last seen making plans for the worst case scenario. This included asking her fiancée Charity Dingle to adopt her son Johnny in the event of her death.
Next week, the soap will air an interesting return cameo for Vanessa as she appears in front of Charity via a tablet computer attached to a mannequin.
Emmerdale currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
