On tonight's Emmerdale (September 16) Paddy Kirk was left furious after he found out that Kirin Kotecha had returned to the village and was blackmailing Charity Dingle.
Kirin (now played by Rish Shah) made his return on Monday night, much to the shock of his former stepmother Priya.
He hasn't been seen in the Dales for four years after he went on the run following a car accident, in which Tess Harris was killed.

Charity had been desperately trying to track down Kirin, since she needs his permission so that she can adopt her fiancée Vanessa Woodfield's son Johnny.
In last night's episode, Kirin had attempted to blackmail Charity. He demanded £15,000 or said he would try and slow down or even block her adoption of Johnny.
Tonight, Charity went to meet with Priya and Kirin to hand over the money on the condition that he never contacts Vanessa and Johnny again and never returns to the village.
But before she gave over the cash, Charity let slip that Vanessa has cancer, something Priya hadn't told him.

When Kirin opened the envelope he wasn't happy, realising the amount was nothing near the £15,000 he had asked for.
Kirin then threatened to go to Vanessa if Charity didn't come back with the rest of the money within 24 hours.
Desperate for cash, Charity went to see Chas and asked if she could use their emergency funds to pay off Kirin, but Paddy overheard and couldn't believe that Kirin was back walking around the village after he killed Tess.

While Charity tried to tell him Tess' death was a mistake, Paddy, who had been having an affair with Tess at the time, was having none of it.
As Charity pleaded with Chas to lend her the cash, Paddy said there was no way he was ever going to give Kirin any money. Will this put a stop to Charity's adoption plans?
Emmerdale is now back to airing six times a week on ITV, with new episodes at 7pm on Monday to Friday, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
