Emmerdale has revealed the identity of Millie Tate's biological father – and it wasn't the outcome that many fans might have expected.

Christmas Day's hour-long special featured the big revelation that Millie is definitely Jamie's daughter, despite Graham Foster's belief that the little girl was his.

Graham (Andrew Scarborough) shared the news with Kim Tate on Christmas morning after she confronted him over his decision to secretly arrange a DNA test.

The results came back showing that there's no chance Millie can be Graham's daughter, but if Kim (Claire King) thought that was the end of the matter, she had another thing coming.

Storming into Home Farm just as they were about to enjoy a delicious Christmas lunch prepared by Marlon Dingle, Graham let Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) know about the one-night stand he had with Andrea.

Jamie was appalled to realise that Andrea and Kim had both been lying to him. Even though he was reassured that Andrea only cheated on him once – and that Millie is definitely his daughter – Jamie walked out of Home Farm in disgust.

Christmas didn't entirely go Graham's way, as Kim fought back by revealing that she had masterminded Rhona's new job opportunity in France.

Marlon was horrified to hear that Rhona and Graham have been plotting to move abroad with Leo, and he immediately vowed to put a stop to their plans.

In a heated Christmas Day showdown, Marlon hinted at launching a legal fight to stop Rhona from taking Leo away.

He also took a less conventional approach with Graham, threatening to kill him if he plays any part in Leo leaving the village.

With Graham's grisly exit storyline looming, perhaps he should be taking Marlon's threats seriously…

Emmerdale continues on Boxing Day at 7pm on ITV.
