Emmerdale has bid an emotional farewell to Jessie Dingle.
Cast member Sandra Marvin's final scenes aired on Monday (September 16), as Jessie said her goodbyes to Marlon (Mark Charnock), April (Amelia Flanagan), Ellis (Asan N'Jie) and Billy (Jay Kontzle) before leaving the village.
Last week, Marlon was shocked to find out that Jessie had been cheating on him with ex-husband Al Chapman, and although Jessie tried one last time to save their marriage, both realised it was over in Monday's (September 16) episode.
Jessie then gathered her boys together one last time to apologise for what she'd done, tearfully telling them: "At least I've got [you]. You two best stick together. Don't let anybody come in between you."
Just before she set off to begin her new life teaching in Dubai, a heartbroken Marlon arrived with April to wish her well on her journey.
"I love you and I'm sorry," Jessie told him one final time, with Marlon assuring her: "I love you too."

Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
