Emmerdale bosses have already warned fans that Tracy Metcalfe's life "will never be the same again" after the factory's devastating fire, but exactly how is yet to be revealed.
Ahead of tonight's (August 1) episode, Emmerdale has given fans their first look at the fire as it starts – and things aren't looking good for Tracy, who finds herself trapped in the factory's store cupboard.
Unable to open the door, Tracy's frustration soon turns to fear when smoke starts to pour into the room from the corridor. With the air thick and black with smoke, Tracy's life is left hanging in the balance.
Will anyone be able to hear her calls for help before it's too late?

Whether Tracy makes it out of the factory fire alive is yet to be revealed, but actress Amy Walsh had an intense time filming the "amazing" scenes nonetheless.

Opening up about the challenging storyline recently, Amy said: "It was an intense day on set for me, because I had so much screaming and crying to do.

"When the building exploded I could feel the impact of the blast and the flames were boiling hot. It's 100 per cent the most challenged I've been as an actor. It took a toll on me both physically and emotionally.
"I needed a stiff gin to steady my nerves at the end of the day, then switched off at home by watching Love Island!"
