Former Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson has revealed that she "would love" to reprise her role on the soap series.
Gemma joined Emmerdale as her character Carly Hope back in 2015 and bowed out of the soap two years later, but speaking on James Martin's Saturday Morning today (March 9), the actress teased that she would like to make a return.
"I would love to go back to Emmerdale," she told the host. "I would go back at some point."

Gemma has previously explained that her choice to leave the soap was one of the hardest decisions she has had to make.
"I was doing my Key 103 radio show and Emmerdale together for six months and I just took on too much," she told Sunday Post last year.
"Leaving Emmerdale was one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make. I just couldn't keep doing the two jobs and the radio show was closer to home and gave me more freedom to do other stuff.
"I was getting up at 4am, wasn't getting home until 8.30pm and then had to learn my lines. I had no social life at all and it was my mum who told me that I was getting so grumpy I had to leave one of the jobs."

At the time, she teased about her potential return too, saying: "I chose to leave Emmerdale and I'm very grateful that it's been left open, so hopefully at some point I will return."
Any return for Carly Hope will probably be a while away yet, though, as Gemma is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend Gorka Marquez, who she met while appearing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
"Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year," Gemma confirmed in February. "Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already."
James Martin's Saturday Morning airs on ITV, while Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
