Vanessa is thrown to find a man splashing petrol round the bins outside The Woolpack. She confronts the hooded figure, but he stabs her and she is soon left fighting for her life whilst he makes a getaway in her car.
The perpetrator is unaware that is Johnny strapped into the back seat and as flames and smoke billow from the back of The Woolpack, Johnny is driven off.
Meanwhile, Belle is consumed by paranoia.
