EastEnders' Linda Carter revealed a big secret tonight (November 23) – she hasn't turned her back on Mick after all. Phew!
Recent episodes have seen Linda (Kellie Bright) seemingly turn against her husband Mick (Danny Dyer) since he was sent to jail over the shooting of Stuart Highway – having removed her wedding rings and made plans for a divorce.
However, the closing moments of Friday's episode saw Linda promise Shirley (Linda Henry) that she was still very much still supporting Mick and that her surprise friendship with Stuart is all part a much wider plan.
Fans had already suspected that there was more to Linda's sudden change of heart than meets the eye, but tonight's episode was the first time she's disclosed her secret plan to anyone on screen.
Linda's big confession follows a difficult few days with her family, after a furious Shirley returned home to find Stuart behind the bar at The Vic.
With it seeming like Linda and been taken in by Stuart's lies, Shirley's anger ended up getting her arrested and she was still intent on making her feelings clear when she was released tonight.

Even more horrified to see Stuart wearing Mick's shirt and waistcoat, Shirley created yet another huge scene in the pub – forcing Linda to step in and drag her away.
With emotions running high, Linda privately begged Shirley to let it go – revealing that she hadn't thrown her wedding rings away after all.
Opening up to Shirley, Linda promised that she still loved Mick and always would, but was simply doing everything she could to get him out of prison.
Although Linda didn't give away anymore details on her secret plan, it's looking like she is only growing close to Stuart to get a confession out of him. But how far is she willing to take her plan? And how long before he cottons onto what she is up to?
