Would you call yourself a true fan of EastEnders if you didn't want justice for Arthur 'Fatboy' Chubb? No, we don't think so.

The lovable Fatboy left the soap in brutal – and suitably ambiguous – fashion back in 2015, when he was bumped off by a car crusher in a case of mistaken identity.

Speaking to OK! Online about any future return storyline for Fats, Ricky said he would love to see his character seek revenge on Vincent Hubbard.

"I think he would probably get some type of online revenge for... Vincent," he said hopefully. "Where he fleeces money from them and sets up Dot in a nice house..."

Aside from a touch of vengeance, what else has Fatboy got to come back to? Well, according to Ricky, he reckons that love might still be on the cards for Arthur.

"I think [Fatboy's] heart was with [Whitney Dean]. I definitely think that there would be some kind of longing love still there."

Despite hatching a couple of plans for Fatboy's return to the soap, Ricky also admitted that he's not going to "hold out" for an invitation back to the Square from bosses.

He's still hopeful, though: "Anything is possible. EastEnders is such a big machine, they're going in 100 different directions right now.

"They know my number, I'm still a friend of the family there. There ain't no hate, there ain't no animosity."

EastEnders continues tonight (March 16) at 8pm on BBC One without Fatboy – for now.
