EastEnders just aired another shock twist for Lisa Fowler as she did a runner from the hospital with her daughter Louise Mitchell.
Lisa (Lucy Benjamin) has been struggling with mental health problems since making her return to Walford, but the Mitchells have failed to notice that anything is wrong.
Monday night's EastEnders episode saw the ongoing storyline take another worrying turn, as Lisa became obsessed with the idea of saving Louise from her dad Phil.
When Lisa broke into the Mitchell house and saw a photo of Peggy, she remembered how the no-nonsense matriarch once handed Louise over to her to protect her from Phil.
With these thoughts suddenly taking over in heartbreaking scenes, Lisa found a way to get Sharon out of the way for a while. She also convinced the hospital to let her take Louise outside, claiming it was for some fresh air.
Instead, Lisa actually seized her opportunity to take a sleeping Louise off in a cab, after telling the teen that she was getting her home.
