With Lacey Turner's EastEnders performances still wowing fans, does her old on-screen husband Charlie Clements ever wish he was still part of the Walford drama too?
Turns out the answer is no - as Clements revealed himself when he was quizzed on ITV's Loose Women today (April 13).
Clements appeared on the daytime show to promote his role as Henry VIII in new Channel 5 series Henry VIII and His Six Wives.
However, when the Loose Women panel asked whether he regrets leaving behind the stability of EastEnders, Clements replied: "I don't, actually. I don't regret it because leaving has allowed me to do other things."
The actor was also pleased that his character Bradley Branning was killed off rather than leaving with a whimper, adding: "I got very lucky I didn't [leave in a] cab! But I had a great time on the show when I was there. But it was time."
Clements certainly hasn't rested on his laurels since Bradley fell off the roof of the Queen Vic in 2010. As well as stage and screen roles, he even went off to study by doing a masters at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

"About two years ago I did the masters," he explained. "I've always wanted to go to drama school.
"I kind of needed to do it just to learn a bit more, because I hadn't done it and I didn't know how it would benefit me."
Henry VIII and His Six Wives starts on Channel 5 on Friday (April 15).
