EastEnders hard man Phil Mitchell tries to make amends next week after endangering his fiancée Kat Slater and her young son Tommy Moon.
Phil, Kat and Tommy all took centre stage in high-stakes scenes this week as DCI Keeble's revenge storyline finally came to a head.
Keeble arranged for Kat and Tommy to be kidnapped as part of her long-running battle with Phil, but her plan had terrible consequences when Kat accidentally shot her in a tussle for the gun.
Phil then struck a deal with Keeble, agreeing to get her to hospital if she'd finally drop her vendetta against the Mitchell family.

New spoilers for next week's episodes have now revealed the aftermath of Kat's decision to stay with Phil despite the frightening incident.
Still traumatised after what happened, Kat goes overboard as she tries to return to a sense of normality.
Phil finds himself on the same page as Kat's ex-husband Alfie Moon for once, as they both agree that Kat needs to slow down and process what happened.
Feeling guilty that Tommy was involved in such a terrifying situation, Phil is also desperate to help the youngster cope.

Phil ends up sharing a heart-to-heart with Tommy, and Kat is delighted to see his strong efforts to make amends.

Meanwhile, after the good news that he won't be going to prison, Billy Mitchell tries to focus his efforts on his unwell granddaughter Lola Pearce.

When Lola invites the family to gather for a meal, Billy, Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway all brace themselves for a terrible update. However, they're relieved as Lola and her fiancé Jay Brown take great delight in announcing some happy plans.
Later, Honey Mitchell notices that Billy is seriously down and gives him a pep talk about acting brave in front of Lola.
