1. Shirley vows to expose Janine
It's Christmas morning and Shirley's determined to expose Janine for who she is but hasn't quite pieced the full puzzle together.
With Linda by her side, they head to The Vic and make peace with Mick after a difficult few days.
At the Christmas dinner table, Shirley doesn't give up trying to expose Janine and it doesn't take long before a vicious row ensues.

2. Jada returns
Jada returns to Walford for Christmas and drops a bombshell on Sharon, Martin, and Zack.
When Janine sees Jada arrive, she is determined to keep her away from Linda.
Both Linda and Shirley are stunned when Janine invites them to Christmas lunch, but there's a bigger shock in store when Sharon and Jada interrupt the lunch. What will this mean?
Kelsey Calladine-Smith reprised her role as Jada for a brief stint, having previously bowed out in August.
3. Scarlett contemplates telling the truth
As Janine continues to shrug off all of Shirley's accusations, Scarlett walks in and is horrified by what she witnesses.
Linda goes to comfort her, leading to a heart-to-heart about how lies destroy you and how important it is to be honest. Will this prompt Scarlett to tell the truth?
4. Mick's exit
Mick's world will implode around him as secrets and lies are finally exposed, and he's finally forced to face a harsh reality about his life.
Desperate for the answers, Mick demands the truth but Janine flees Albert Square. Determined not to let her get away, Mick, with Linda in tow, jumps in the car and follows.
Fans will have to wait and see what happens next, but only one thing is for certain – Christmas Day is Mick's last day in Walford.
5. Alfie's Christmas plan backfires
Alfie is still desperate to create Christmas magic for Kat and the kids by dressing as Santa and abseiling from the roof of the Mitchell house.
As usual, this doesn't go to plan as his helper Freddie gets distracted and Alfie ends up stuck on the roof in the freezing cold.
Inside, Bert lets slip to Phil that Kat had told Alfie he could stay until New Year, which she tries to brush off as an overactive imagination.
Later, Phil goes outside and sees Alfie stuck on the roof, but will he help him?
6. Phil makes some shock discoveries
Kat invites Alfie in following his roof fiasco, but there's more trouble ahead when Phil finds out what's been going on since he has been away.
Alfie rushes to Kat's defence but ends up making the situation worse as his explanation alerts Phil to the fact he was indeed living in his house.
Backed into a corner, Kat admits that Alfie has been there for a month while Phil was away.
Furious, Phil demands that Kat makes her choice – it's him or Alfie.
7. Jay proposes to Lola
Lola wakes up to find Lexi opening presents and Jay hands her a lovely gift.
Billy commends Jay on sticking by Lola, and Jay reveals he's going to propose today.
Enlisting the help of Ben, Jay organises an outdoor Christmas miracle and asks for Lola's hand in marriage. What will she say?
8. The Fox-Brannings have a Christmas Day disaster
The Fox-Branning families have a nightmare when chef Kim takes control of Christmas dinner and destroys all the food.
Denise insists that they go with Raymond to the Mitchells and throw themselves at their mercy.
Kim is unsure but Kat and Phil take them in, and surprisingly, the families manage to make their unconventional Christmas celebrations work.
9. Scarlett faces a backlash
After the events of Christmas day, the fallout of what happened hits home.
The residents of Walford wake up to the confusing news that The Vic isn't opening and word continues to spread about what has happened, leaving everyone stunned.
When the truth about what happened on Christmas Day comes out, poor Scarlett gets a rough deal when she is the target of someone's rage.
With the events of Christmas Day still haunting those in the Square, Shirley realises that she has made a mistake and goes to make things right.
10. Phil causes concern
Phil goes AWOL in the aftermath of Christmas Day and Kat and Keanu desperately try to find him.
Kat confronts Keanu and demands to know what's going on between him and Phil. When Sam eventually finds Phil in the dark at Peggy's, she is shocked by what she sees.
Worried, Sam tries to convince Phil to give Kat another chance.
11. Sam confronts Keanu
Sam spots Keanu talking to Kat and is intrigued. When Keanu leaves, Sam confronts him and asks what he's playing at with Phil.
After making another shock discovery, Sam tries to get to the bottom of what is going on with Keanu, but will she?
12. Zack and Whitney grow closer
Zack melts Whitney's heart with a kind gesture and offers to cook her dinner.
Whitney is impressed by Zack's cooking and they grow closer when he gives her a foot massage.
Chelsea and Felix interrupt and encourage Zack to go for it with Whitney when she's out of the room. Will he take their advice?
13. Harvey and Jean reunite
Freddie agrees to spend an evening playing board games with Jean to cheer her up, only to get an invite from Bobby to a sold-out underground night in Hackney.
Freddie sticks to his promise and spends the evening with Jean, roping Bobby in too. However, when Harvey arrives, the boys ditch Jean for the party.
Jean invites Harvey in and they have a lovely time together, which leads to a kiss.
