Eve Unwin has been left heartbroken over Suki Panesar's marriage decision in EastEnders.

Suki returned to the Square last week just in time to see her son Kheerat Panesar brawling with Ravi Gulati in the middle of the pub for the whole town to see.

In Monday's (October 31) episode, Suki immediately gave Eve the cold shoulder as she completely focused on berating Ravi for fighting with Kheerat.

Suki then received the shocking news that Kheerat had told the rest of the family the 'real reason' Nish had been imprisoned – for murdering a man Suki had become friends with.

Ultimately, Suki revealed there was more to the story, as the man killed was actually married to a woman Suki was exploring a romantic connection with.

In spite of the horrible truth about Nish, Suki managed to share a bonding moment with him as they reflected on their grief over Jags' death.

However, Nish turned nasty as he warned Suki he wasn't going to let "another man" step into his place as head of the family, not knowing his wife had actually been seeing Eve.

Suki met up with Eve from there to deliver the heartbreaking news that she would be giving her marriage another chance for the kids' sake.

"You love me, I know you do," Ev told Suki.

Eve encouraged Suki to let herself "be in love and be happy", but Suki callously called their relationship "a fantasy" before leaving Eve heartbroken.

"I don't really like you and that's the truth. I used you to explore something and it left me cold," Suki said.

All of this was potentially overshadowed by a bombshell at the end of the episode when Ravi and Nina received word from police that they'd possibly found Ranveer's body.

The episode then cut back to Ranveer returning to the family home where he found a deeply unsettled Suki. The sadness in Suki's eyes was apparent as she led her husband to the bedroom.

Will even more family secrets be revealed?

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
