However, it doesn't take long for Janine to notice their chemistry. Will she be able to find hatch a dastardly plan to ruin the moment for them?
The love triangle comes as storylines are being set up for Mick's upcoming exit from Albert Square this Christmas. According to reports, Danny Dyer's character is set to "go out with a bang" in scenes that will leave viewers reeling.
An EastEnders insider told the Metro: "Bosses are staying tight-lipped about the exact nature of Danny’s exit but there’s no way his character would go out without a bang.
"Exact details are being kept top secret but the show is pulling out all the stops to make it an explosive ending, which will no doubt leave the residents of Walford reeling."

Meanwhile, Dyer, who has become a favourite among EastEnders fans, previously confessed that viewers may never see his character on Albert Square again.
"It may be that we never see Mick again," he told Metro back in June.
"It’ll be an epic ending. It’ll be huge. And I think I want to put a full stop on the job, and I think it’s been an amazing 10 years I’ve had, I’ve loved every minute of it."
