EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of Phil Mitchell fleeing from Walford.

Viewers saw Phil making a hasty retreat from the Square in Thursday's episode, after a volatile 24 hours where he ended up in the crosshairs of both DCI Keeble and his arch-nemesis Jonah.

Phil's latest exit wasn't a conspicuous one, as both Kat Slater and Alfie Moon looked on while he drove past the Vic to make a mysterious phone call asking for help.

In Monday's episode (October 10), Alfie is willing to take advantage of Phil's absence with a grand gesture to win over Kat, thanks to a suggestion from Freddie Slater.

What to Read Next

Kat is in no mood to be wooed when DCI Keeble makes a surprise visit to search for Phil's whereabouts. After being warned by Keeble, Kat goes to Shirley to encourage her to keep quiet about Phil leaving.

While Shirley agrees not to grass on Phil, she warns Kat about what she's getting herself involved with by misleading someone as dangerous as Keeble.

Meanwhile, Freddie is helping Alfie set up a huge flower display for Kat that goes awry when she finds out how he got the decorations. Alfie back-peddles by insisting he only wanted to prove his friendship.

Kat eventually has a change of heart after hearing Phil made that mystery call to Sharon rather than her, so she turns up for a drink with Alfie at the Vic.
