Former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney has revealed that he's going to be a grandad again, sharing the news that his daughter Chloe is pregnant with her second child.
The actor revealed the happy news via his Instagram account, sharing a photo of his first granddaughter Mimi holding an ultrasound scan. He captioned the photo: "So Mimi, you’re telling me I’m going to be a grandad for the second time!"
The star received plenty of well wishes from friends and followers, congratulating him on the news of his growing family. "Congrats!!! It's lovely being a grandparent......you can hand them back at end of the day!" one person commented.
Gaffney played Robbie Jackson on the soap from 1993 to 2003 with additional appearances from 2010 and 2015. He most recently reprised the role from 2017 to 2019.

In an interview last year, he joked that he was hoping to get some grandad tips from his former co-star Danny Dyer, who became a first-time grandfather just before he did. "I'm so proud. Lots of my mates are becoming dads, but I'm a grandad at the same age," he said.
"The only person I know who's in the same boat as me is Danny Dyer, who has a grandchild at 43. I'll be calling him for tips. We could do grandaddy day care together.
He also joked about his youthful appearance, saying he didn't look old enough to be a father let alone a grandfather. "I'm hoping people will see me pushing a pram in the street and go, 'Oh, is that your child?' Because although I've got grey hair, I don't think I look like a grandad just yet," he added.
