Jada Lennox has admitted to betraying Linda Carter in EastEnders.
This week has seen Linda's troubles getting worse when a surprise social services inspection found open alcohol and a bruise on baby Annie's arm.
Janine Butcher was behind the ploy, having paid off Jada to call in the tip to a social worker. As a result of this search, Annie was taken from Linda's custody to undergo a medical evaluation.

Jada was consumed with guilt over what she'd done, yet Janine warned her there would be consequences for taking the bribe if she reveals the truth.
However, Linda quickly suspected Jada was the one who'd betrayed her, even after Sharon came to the teen's defence in a heated moment.
Linda turned her suspicion towards Janine, leading to a physical confrontation in the barrel room where Linda actually punched her nemesis.
Janine continued to insist she wasn't the one who called in the social worker, which is technically true since she'd pressured Jada to do the dirty work for her.

Much to Linda's horror, Mick Carter accepted Janine's explanation and stood by her side against his ex-wife. Just when it looked like Linda was down and out, the truth finally came to light.
Jada could no longer handle the guilt of separating Annie and Linda so she made a shocking confession to Sharon.
"I'm so sorry," Jada told Sharon. "It was me. I called social services on Linda."
Linda interrupted their conversation before Jada could reveal anything else, leaving Sharon and Jada horrified as Linda apologised for her prior accusation.
Jada wept as Linda left the room, with a furious Sharon asking her: "Have you any idea what you've done?"
Can Jada make things right?
