EastEnders star Danielle Harold has been playing Lola Pearce on the soap for over a decade now, but recent reports have claimed that her time on the soap is coming to an end as part of a big storyline that could possibly end with Lola being killed off.
While Danielle hasn't confirmed the nature of her character's exit, she has spoken about leaving, explaining that she's excited to move onto other projects.
"EastEnders has been such a big part of my life, but I can't wait to start something new," she told Daily Star at the British Soap awards.

"I want to work on other things and play other characters. I can't wait to get out there and see what's possible. I'd love to do a drama — something with a beginning, middle and an end to the story.

"I want to do something completely different to soaps. I'd love to get back to doing some films as well."
Although she's ready for new challenges, she looks back on her time on Albert Square fondly, calling it the best training ground for an actor.

"You can't train anywhere better than a soap," she explained. "It's so fast-paced and the hard work you put in is insane. The actors on soaps are amazing. I couldn't have learned in a better place."
Another confirmed upcoming exit for the soap is Barbara Smith as Dana Monroe, although Ross Boatman, who plays her on-screen dad, is confident that she'll return one day.
There are also three more confirmed exits set to rock the BBC One soap, with Ricky Champ (Stuart Highway), Dayle Hudson (Peter Beale) and Kelsey Calladine-Smith (Jada Lennox) also saying goodbye.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
