EastEnders spoilers follow.
It's the most exciting EastEnders spoiler roundup of the year, as we are bringing you all the gossip on the Christmas and New Year episodes.
From Chelsea's big wedding dilemma, to Phil's shock discovery, we've gathered all the biggest talking points from the Christmas special this Saturday (December 25), all the way through to New Year's Eve next week.
1. Denise and Chelsea prepare for their weddings
Christmas Day has arrived in Walford and it's all smiles as Chelsea and Denise prepare for their double wedding.
However, as Gray and Denise wait for their respective partners at the church, Chelsea and Jack are nowhere to be seen. And here's one of the reasons why…
2. Whitney tells Chelsea the truth
Having discovered the truth about Chantelle's death, Whitney is ready and determined to go through with her plan of exposing Gray.
What to Read Next
Knowing what she has to do, Whitney bravely tells Chelsea that Gray killed Chantelle. Chelsea is stunned by what she hears, but will she believe Whitney or go through with the wedding?
3. Sharon causes a Christmas stir
Everyone’s baffled as Sharon shows up at the Slaters' for Christmas lunch but Phil didn't tell anyone. Awkward.
Unsurprisingly, Kat becomes progressively more annoyed as Sharon and Phil reminisce on old times throughout the day, until they realise that the kids are missing…
4. Janine plans a Christmas surprise
The festive celebrations are underway at The Vic and Janine is dressed up as Mrs Claus, hellbent on making it a perfect Christmas Day for Scarlett.
As Janine puts her plan into action, Stacey is shocked by what she sees when she looks out the window. What has Janine done this time?
5. Rainie faces temptation
Rainie is still in the dark about Stuart's cancer diagnosis post-Christmas, despite Sonia's attempts to persuade him to tell his wife the truth.
Worried about Stuart's behaviour of late, both Rainie and Callum try to talk to him, but to no avail.
Feeling rejected, Rainie distracts herself by partying at The Albert, but what will she do when she's sent a drink by a handsome man?
6. Janine makes a discovery about Mick
As we've already revealed, Janine's scheming will know no bounds this Christmas, as she vows to tempt Mick away from his absent wife Linda.
One of Janine's (many) schemes to do this involves Zack as she encourages him to ask Nancy out.
When Janine notices Mick's struggling, she quickly puts two and two together to realise why. And when Billy mentions Linda's alcoholism, Janine's mind whirs.
7. Dana makes a decision
Following the dramas of Christmas Day, Bobby and Dana want to plan something special.
Wanting to affirm her commitment to Bobby, Dana later tells him that she wants to learn more about Islam and visit the Mosque.
As Dana continues her research with Bobby's support, Harvey gives Aaron some advice.
8. Mick makes an announcement
Nancy is furious with Janine for meddling with Zack and is delighted when Mick makes a huge announcement – he's bringing his family back together.
Desperate to make his dreams a reality, Mick tries to speak with Linda.
He is later inspired by Stuart to create the perfect party for his family, but is soon confiding in Nancy about the problems he's secretly facing behind-the-scenes.
9. Stacey and Martin go head to head
Eve helps Stacey to get a job interview as the new market inspector, unaware that her ex-husband Martin is in the running too.
When Stacey and Martin realise they’re both going for the same job, the competition is on – may the best person win.
As Stacey is grilled during her interview, she's mortified to discover that Eve has added some embellishments to her CV.
Stacey's hopes are quickly dashed when Ash approaches with some choice words about her and Eve. Unfortunately, the job interviewer has seen the whole thing and Martin later tells Sonia that he got the job.
10. Phil faces a setback over Raymond
Phil is feeling frustrated post-Christmas as Denise has said he can't see Raymond until after New Year.
Following some intervention from Kat, Phil is delighted to be spending time with Raymond after all, but things quickly take an unfortunate turn.
When Sharon invites them to The Albert later, she realises Kat is hiding something in regards to Phil, but what has Kat found out? And what will it mean for Phil?
11. Nancy and Zack hatch a plan
As Walford prepares to see in the New Year, Mick is over the moon that his plan is coming together, unaware that Janine has a new trick up her sleeve.
Nancy takes pleasure in telling Janine to start packing and later leans on Zack for support to help lift Mick's spirits.
With 2022 merely hours away, Zack and Nancy take a trip to try to solve things before the clock strikes midnight, but will their efforts be in vain?
12. Denise gives Phil a shock warning
Worried for Phil, Sharon pushes Kat for answers and she admits the truth. Phil overhears this and confronts Denise, who retaliates with a major warning for him.
As Kat panics about what this could mean, Sharon is also worried as she knows Phil is up to something. What is he planning?
13. Nancy gives Mick an ultimatum
Tensions are at an all-time high in the Carter household as they deal with the fallout from New Year's Eve.
Fed up, Nancy gives Mick an ultimatum, but what will he do?
14. Ash is left devastated over Suki
Ash manages to impress Suki over the festive season, thanks to the way she stands up to troublesome duo Stacey and Eve.
Sadly, the harmony between mother and daughter doesn't last long thanks to a comment from Eve, which leaves Ash devastated.
EastEnders will air a 45-minute long episode at 9.45pm on Christmas Day on BBC One. The full Christmas soaps schedule can be found here.
