EastEnders' Kat Slater is gearing up to make a big decision about her son Tommy Moon and his burgeoning football skills.
In scenes set to air next week, Kat (Jessie Wallace) will be seen umming-and-ahhing over whether to let Tommy (Sonny Kendall) take part in a team trial or not, following Harry Redknapp's encouragement over the youngster's talents and Phil Mitchell's insistence that she should.

Later on, she bumps into Kim Fox, who winds her up by boasting about her daughter Pearl's abilities.
Desperate not to be outdone and to prove her child is gifted too, Kat gives Phil (Steve McFadden) permission to take Tommy to the try-outs.
