EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders has hinted at a shock split for new couple Ash Panesar and Peter Beale as the two struggle to connect following the death of Ash's brother Jags.
In next week's episodes, Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) is left confused by Peter's (Dayle Hudson) recent behaviour, as he's been AWOL while Ash has been grieving Jags' death.

Meanwhile, Peter continues to ignore Ash's calls and later tells Kathy and his brother Bobby that he can't handle being around the Panesars as they grieve.
Kathy and Bobby are not impressed with Peter's attitude, but Kathy is later put on the spot when she bumps into Ash in the Square and Ash takes the opportunity to ask Kathy if Peter is ghosting her.

As Peter is left upset by the latest turn of events, he's given some food for thought when Kathy serves him some home truths.
Deciding that he needs to talk to Ash, Peter sets off to find her but he's stopped in his tracks when he does find her, only to see that Ash is with another man.
