EastEnders is lining up a devastating shock for the Panesar family, after Ben Mitchell makes an impulsive decision.
Ben (Max Bowden) has promised Kheerat that he'll organise insider protection for his brother Jags, who's serving a prison sentence for a crime he didn't commit.

Unfortunately, Kheerat's romantic plans are a vast contrast to Ben's, who is on a downward spiral over the state of his marriage.
Wrongly believing that Callum is cheating on him with his ex, Ben confronts Whitney about her secret meetings with his husband.
When Whitney insists that he talk to Callum himself, Ben demands an explanation from Callum, but is left further devastated by what he hears and decides to drown his sorrows.
Tipsy and upset, Ben phones to organise protection for Jags – until he sees an excitable Kheerat with Sharon. Livid at this fresh betrayal, Ben makes a call that changes everything.
The following day, Kheerat arrives home from his night with Sharon to more tension within his family.
With Suki still furious, Vinny begs Kheerat to make peace. Knowing he needs to do something, Kheerat sadly tells Sharon that they need to cool it off as it's becoming too complicated.
He also meets up with Ben and comes clean about his fling with Sharon but promises him that it's over now.
Grateful for his support, Kheerat thanks Ben for looking after Jags as Ben's guilt starts to set in.
Kheerat then goes to apologise to Suki but is shocked to find her crying. What has happened?
