EastEnders favourite Max Branning is up to his old tricks at the moment, but will fans ever see the return of his ex-wife Tanya? Well, Jo Joyner isn't ruling it out.
Tanya Branning was last seen in Walford in 2018 as part of a four-episode return following her indefinite exit in 2013. It's been a long time since Jo has paid Albert Square a visit, granted, but that doesn't mean the actress has ruled out a comeback.
Appearing on an October episode of the Distinct Nostalgia podcast, Jo revealed that she "would never say never" to a possible return.
"I would never say never, I really wouldn't," she confessed. "Because I'm so fond of that Branning family, and what they created and who they all might have become. Yes, I would [go back] one day."

Of course, no soap character is ever safe, as Jo acknowledged, joking that her character Tanya "may well die as well". "I am at the mercy of scripts," she continued.
