EastEnders has confirmed a reconciliation for Ian Beale and Sharon Watts – though how long it lasts remains to be seen.
Recent episodes have seen Ian treating Sharon nastily, including giving her impossible targets at the Queen Vic after she rejected his desire to become a couple.

However, in new episodes set to air next week, a shock delivery of Denny's items from the boat accident causes her to get upset, with Bobby stepping in behind the bar as Sharon disappears.
Ian later checks in on Sharon after seeing her distraught over Denny's belongings and gives her a birthday card.

She feels grateful for what they've been through together, with Denny's stuff reminding Sharon that she misses him. This leads to the pair making up and apologising for the previous few weeks of tension.

Sharon doesn't know the truth about Ian's involvement with Denny's death, however, so how long will this reconciliation last if she discovers the truth?
Actor Adam Woodyatt is set to take a break from the soap as Ian soon as part of a big storyline, though it's currently unclear what it will entail.
An EastEnders insider previously told Digital Spy: "Ian's going to be off-screen as part of a big storyline. Bosses are keeping tight-lipped, but it's unclear how long it will be."
EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, October 22 at 7.35pm and Friday, October 23 at 8.05pm on BBC One.
