As Gray struggles with his guilt, his emotional state is mistaken for grief. Linda finds herself drawn into helping Gray when he forgets to pick up his kids from school. While helping with some household chores, Linda accidentally cleans Chantelle's mug. This provokes an angry outburst from Gray.
Later, as Whitney's QC comes down with food poisoning, Gray is required to give the final statements. He arrives just in time, but will he be able to help Whitney in her time of need?
Meanwhile, Lola questions Ben about the relationship between Phil and Raymond, but Ben warns her to stay out of it. Lola decides to tell Denise that Phil has been seeing Raymond, so Denise responds by calling Ellie.
Elsewhere, Ruby smugly invites Stacey to her and Martin's party. Stacey accepts the invitation and heads there with Kat, but only because they have a plan to steal alcohol. Stacey is forced to hide under the desk in Ruby's office when Ruby and Martin burst in for some passion before the party.
