EastEnders originals Letitia Dean and Adam Woodyatt have been working together for 35 years — but they've actually known each other even longer.
The pair were Stacey Dooley's most recent guests on BBC One's EastEnders: Secrets From The Square on Monday (June 29), which sees cast members discuss the entire history of the groundbreaking soap.
One of the most interesting revelations came when Stacey asked about what it was like for Letitia and Adam to work together as teenagers, playing Sharon Watts and Ian Beale.

"[We knew each other] longer outside because we were 10 or 11 when we first met," Woodyatt revealed. "Not massively knew each other, but our paths crossed. We used to go to the same auditions. We were both with the same [stage school]."

Both cast members got early starts in their careers, with Dean appearing in both Grange Hill and Brookside while Woodyatt was in The Baker Street Boys before being cast in EastEnders. Dean worked in the West End when she was a teenager as well.
"[I was] twelve," Woodyatt piped up when Stacey broached their stage careers. "I did Oliver!"
"Are we talking about you Adam, are we?" Letitia Dean cheekily, before continuing: "That was my first foray, I suppose, into professional stuff."

The trip down memory lane with Letitia Dean will continue later this week when the BBC airs the infamous Sharongate episode of EastEnders on Tuesday (June 30).
This classic episode originally aired on October 25, 1994, so now viewers have another chance at reliving the infamous moment Grant Mitchell discovered Sharon was having an affair with his brother Phil.
EastEnders: Secrets From The Square continues at 8pm on Monday, July 6 on BBC One.
