EastEnders' Phil Mitchell will turn to his son Ben with a huge proposition next week.
A big week for Phil (Steve McFadden) will see him clash with his old acquaintance Danny Hardcastle yet again, ultimately choosing to lean on Ben instead.
Danny – played by former Brookside star Paul Usher – is back for another guest stint, which will spell more trouble for Phil, who is desperate to buy The Vic.
Phil will be left floored at the start of the week, when he receives a gift he was going to surprise his late stepson Dennis with.
When Ben spots the present, he reaches out to his dad and the pair reminisce about Dennis. Unfortunately, the touching moment is ruined when Phil grows frustrated that Ben can't hear, leaving him devastated.

Ben doesn't have long to dwell on his sad exchange with Phil as he soon learns that his operation is due to take place the following day and turns to Callum for support.
While Ben prepares for the life-changing surgery, Phil focuses his attention on trying to seal a deal with the Carters over The Vic.
