EastEnders fans have been questioning where Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) has been since his stepson Dennis Rickman's tragic death during the soap's 35th anniversary boat disaster.
After being AWOL for weeks Phil is set to make his return to Albert Square this week just in time for Dennis' funeral.
And emotions are set to reach breaking point as Phil makes his unexpected return while his estranged wife Sharon (Letitia Dean) says an emotional goodbye to her son.

EastEnders recently shut down filming due to the COVID-19 outbreak but the soap's boss Jon Sen has since shared an update with fans, reassuring them that the team are still working on storylines behind the scenes.
