In the ever-changing world of EastEnders, it can be hard to keep track of what juicy secrets are beating away in Walford...
From forbidden passion, to betrayals, to death secrets, many of our Albert Square residents are currently sitting on ticking timebombs, so here's our countdown of the biggest storylines about to explode...
1. The truth about Dennis's death
EastEnders bosses warned that last month's boat tragedy would have far-reaching consequences, but what no-one knew was the pivotal role Ian Beale would play in the aftermath.
While Ian has stepped up to support a grieving Sharon in her time of need, she's currently oblivious to the crucial information he's holding back in regards to her son's death.
Fans know that Ian locked Dennis on the lower deck of the boat in the moments before it crashed, making his secret the biggest and deadliest timebomb in Walford right now.
2. Dotty is blackmailing Ian
A chip off the old block, Dotty has been proving that she's very much Nasty Nick's daughter in recent episodes, having discovered Ian's aforementioned secret – and she's used it to her advantage.
What to Read Next
Aware of the hold she now has over Ian, Dotty has been blackmailing the businessman and revelling in his ongoing misery. And it's because of this that we think Ian's nightmare is only just beginning.
3. Lola slept with Peter
Lola's found herself in a bit of a pickle recently, when the return of her ex-boyfriend Peter coincided with the discovery that she was expecting a baby with current partner Jay.
When their very different ideas about the future brought Lola and Jay crashing down, Peter was on hand to pick up the debris.
After drowning her sorrows in The Albert, Lola made a big mistake by spending the night with Peter – something which she was forced to keep to herself when she went on to make up with Jay the next day.
How will Jay react when he finds out? If we were to hedge our bets, not all that well.
4. Gray is abusing Chantelle
Gray might be managing to fool nearly everyone on Albert Square with his "Mr Nice Guy" act, but we all know soap villains get their comeuppance eventually.
The solicitor has been making his wife Chantelle's life a misery behind closed doors, with ongoing physical and psychological abuse. And while Chantelle's dad Mitch has never been able to shake off his gut feeling that things aren't totally tickety-boo with Gray, everyone else appears to have bought into his facade. But for how long?
5. Martin and Ruby's one-night stand
So much has happened since last November that Ruby and Martin's scandalous one-night stand could easily be forgotten. Not by us, though, and something tells us that this juicy Walford secret could rear its head when Stacey eventually returns to Walford later in the year.
Speaking about the consequences of Ruby's passion with Martin last year, Louisa Lytton – who plays her – said: "I think Stacey will be really angry and disappointed because Ruby and Stacey are meant to be best friends. I guess it could result in an explosive storyline when she comes back."
6. Patrick is Isaac's dad
EastEnders unveiled a brand new secret over Christmas in the form of newcomer Isaac, who, it later transpired, was the estranged son of Patrick Trueman.
After months of suspicion about the true intentions of Patrick's new wife Sheree, viewers learned that she was indeed hiding the daddy of all bombshells when her son Isaac turned up in Walford.
While Patrick now knows that he is Isaac's biological father, Isaac remains oblivious – and Sheree is hoping to keep it that way. Hmm, good luck with that.
7. Sonia stole Dot's money
It was the twist you didn't see coming – Sonia was the Christmas con artist who stole from poor Dot over the festive season.
Sonia did have her reasons for needing some quick cash (we're looking at you, Martin!) but let's just hope Dot is as understanding. Although if recent rumours are anything to go by, this timebomb could be on the backburner for a while yet..
EastEnders continues on Monday, March 30 at 8pm on BBC One.
