Sharon Mitchell has the most unlikely person by her side when she goes into labour in EastEnders.
Friday's (February 21) episode will cap off a 35th anniversary week that started with Sharon (Letitia Dean) plotting to leave the Square for good with Dennis (Bleu Landau) and Keanu (Danny Walters), once they were paid a ransom from the Mitchells.
Events took their course to complicate Keanu's plan, culminating in Ben (Max Bowden) holding Sharon at gunpoint – until she went into labour!
Ben was forced to call in his mum Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) to coach Sharon through birth. In Friday's instalment, the two love rivals must depend on one another if Sharon has any hope of delivering a healthy baby.

The two will have no idea that Ben left them to chase down Keanu and Phil (Steve McFadden) on the Carters' boat, leading to a massive brawl between the three in the wheelhouse.

Ben had to pull a gun on his own father when Phil accidentally caused the boat to crash by knocking Keanu into the wheel, thus sending the boat careening into a nearby ferry.
EastEnders has promised one character will die before the 35th anniversary week concludes – and there are multiple characters still at risk going into Friday's episode.
"There is something almost like a tragedy about this particular person who dies and it could be argued that it's been set up for some time," BBC's head of continuing drama Kate Oates recently told Digital Spy.

EastEnders will air this tragic death on Friday (February 21) as the 35th anniversary week comes to a close at 8.30pm on BBC One.
