Shaun Williamson would love to join another soap following his 10-year stint on EastEnders.
The actor played Barry Evans from 1994 to 2004, when the character was infamously killed off after falling from a cliff edge after being pushed by his wife Janine Butcher.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Shaun said that he'd be thrilled to switch soaps to either Coronation Street or Emmerdale.
"I would," he said. "They're excellent, they do comedy very well.
"I wouldn't mind another 10 years in a soap. I think I'd be a bit more grateful this time around."
Discussing his first time on the set of EastEnders, Shaun recalled: "It was nerve-wracking at first, acting with the likes of Barbara Windsor or Wendy Richard, the most famous people in the country. But you soon get used to it."

Shaun also spoke about his time on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, sharing the reasons why he did it.
"Well, I needed the money," he said. "It's not a great thing for an actor to be seen in, I don't mind saying that.
"But however successful you've been in the past, it doesn't matter a damn to a mortgage broker if you can't prove what you'll be earning next year.
"Big Brother, in fairness, got me the down-payment on a house. I couldn't have done that without it."
