EastEnders has announced a new podcast episode with Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) and Dr Legg (Leonard Fenton).

The companion podcast for the soap, EastEnders: The Podcast, features breakout audio dramas closely linked to ongoing storylines involving various characters.

The third episode, titled 'I Won't Back Down', sees Sonia visit Dr Legg in hospital just before his death.

As he sleeps, Dr Legg has a series of dreams, involving his experience of the Battle of Cable Street, and how he met his wife Judith Martin.

EastEnders: The Podcast compiles four standalone audio dramas. The first episode followed Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), while the second featured Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) and Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon).

Download BBC Sounds to hear episode three of EastEnders: The Podcast from February 27. The episode will be available first on BBC Sounds for seven days.

Elsewhere, former EastEnders star Charlie Brooks has downplayed a return as Janine Butcher.

Brooks was last seen on Albert Square in 2014. Although she recently suggested the "great potential" for the villain in a possible comeback, she's now said that she is enjoying being in theatre.

"I don't have plans to go back," she told Good Morning Britain yesterday (February 26).

EastEnders airs on BBC One.
