Samantha Womack has revealed she hasn't watched EastEnders since leaving the show just over two years ago.
The actress, who played Ronnie Mitchell on the BBC One soap, left the series in January 2017 when her character was killed off in a tragic New Year's Day accident hours after her wedding, where she drowned alongside her sister Roxy (Rita Simons).
And during a recent interview, Samantha said the reason why was that "it's too weird" because she knows the show's actors so well.
"I’ve not watched EastEnders for two years," she told The Sun.
"Ever since I left the show in 2017, I can’t tune in – it’s too weird because I know all the characters in real life so well!"

Since being axed, both Samantha and Rita have voiced their concern over how they were made to leave the series.
Speaking last April, Samantha described the decision to kill the Mitchell sisters off as "short-sighted", while Rita said recently that it's a "shame" they can't be brought back by new producer Kate Oates due to their tragic demise.
"I don't want to say I'm disappointed we were killed off, but it's a shame she [Kate Oates, EastEnders' new producer] can't bring me and Sam back," Rita also told the Sun.

"I'm sure Ronnie and Roxy returning at some point, whether it was now or in 10 years, would've made such a huge impact.
"But that decision was taken out of anyone's hands when we were killed."
EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
