Coronation Street's Gina Seddon looks set to betray her sister Sally Metcalfe by trying to break up her marriage.
Gina (Connie Hyde) has developed romantic feelings for her brother-in-law Tim while Sally has been in prison, awaiting trial on fraud charges.
Although Gina has tried to distract herself from Tim (Joe Duttine) by joining a dating app, her priorities could start to change next week as she deliberately tries to drive a wedge between him and Sally.
New Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Gina lies to Tim about Sally (Sally Dynevor), wanting him to believe that his marriage is on the rocks.
Could this pave the way for Gina to make her own move on Tim, or will her manipulations backfire?
The show's official website confirmed: "Tim is confused when Sophie tells him how desperate Sally is to speak to him. Especially because Gina told him quite the opposite."

Gina's scheming comes as part of a huge week for Sally, who'll soon have her fate decided by the jury.
Gina will give evidence as a character witness as part of the court proceedings, but after being swayed by Sally's nemesis Duncan Radfield, it's unclear whether she'll still be supporting her sister.
Sally also gets her own chance to defend herself by taking to the stand and protesting her innocence. But will the jury believe her?
