Coronation Street star Sair Khan may be taking a break from the series to enter the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, but that doesn't mean she's slowing down anytime soon on the soap.
In fact, she's now hinted at big things coming up for her character Alya Nazir, with Sair saying she would "absolutely" love a meaty storyline for the character next year.
"I've had chats with [producer] Iain [MacLeod] and I know a few ideas that he had – but I don't really know which one they're going to lead with; which one they're going to go with," she told Digital Spy.
"I'm definitely excited about next year and I know I'm going be quite busy at the beginning of next year. As soon as I finish this, it's going to be pretty hectic for me, going back into work."
As for whether Alya will still be her bitchy self, Sair continued: "Is she going to continue in the same vein? I think there are some testing times ahead and I probably shouldn't say any more than that."

Sair will make her debut as an I'm a Celeb campmate this weekend alongside fellow celebrities James McVey, John Barrowman, Emily Atack, Fleur East, Anne Hegerty, Nick Knowles, Harry Redknapp and Malique Thompson-Dwyer.
