Ex-Coronation Street star Paula Lane made her name in the iconic soap opera, but she's moving on to bigger and better things these days.

In fact, Paula — who played Kylie Platt on the ITV soap — has revealed she doesn't even think about her time on the show anymore.
Speaking to the Daily Express, Lane said she was "moving into a completely new world" despite Corrie forming such a big part of her life.
She added: "I don't really think about it anymore, to be honest, there's just too much going on. And that's a lovely thing, don't get me wrong.
"When I left, I really mourned that part, it was like a process I had to go through as an actress.
"I'd been playing her for so long and I loved my fellow cast members dearly, and I genuinely mean that."
Paula laughed: "And I was about to have a baby as well, so emotionally that didn't really help! But now, things have changed for me. I'm exactly where I want to be."
Paula first joined Coronation Street in 2010, but then left the show for a short time while on maternity leave.
She returned, but left for good in 2016 when Kylie Platt was killed off in devastating scenes — she died in the arms of her husband David (Jack P Shepherd) just as they were about to move to Barbados together.
Lane is currently in rehearsals for hit musical Kinky Boots, in which she plays down-to-earth factory worker Lauren. Book tickets for the UK tour here.
