Coronation Street's Simon Barlow seems to be heading down a worrying path next week when he's linked to a gang.
The schoolboy's behaviour has often been a cause for concern over the years, but he's about to let his family down yet again by falling in with the wrong crowd.
Early next week, there's an upsetting incident on the cobbles when Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) is mugged by a group of youths, who snatch her handbag and knock her to the ground in broad daylight.
As a result of her injuries, a shaken Audrey has to be taken to hospital. While there, she meets a potential new love interest called Geoff, who's a DJ on the hospital radio.
Back on the cobbles, meanwhile, the repercussions continue as it becomes clear that Simon (Alex Bain) is hanging around with the same group who were responsible for Audrey's ordeal.
Leanne and Peter are both left concerned over the teen's behaviour, while his former stepmum Carla Connor (Alison King) can't resist getting involved when she sees him with the gang.

After standing her ground against Simon and his rowdy new friends, Carla tries to get him back on the straight and narrow by offering him a job at the factory, helping with IT.
Later in the week, Peter and Leanne convince themselves that it's problem solved as they gush about a noticeable improvement in Simon's behaviour.
Unfortunately, as soon as his family's backs are turned, Simon joins the gang as they throw a brick through a car windscreen and run off laughing.
Could Simon be getting involved in a situation that's about to spiral out of control?
