Coronation Street fans will know by now that unlikely couple Carla Connor and Daniel Osbourne are having a secret fling.
But in last night's show (February 5), Peter wasn't the only one left unsettled by Carla and her toyboy's romance as the couple's latest sex scene on the sofa got a bit too much for viewers, pre-watershed.

Taking to Twitter, one ITV watcher wrote: "Ewwwww.........can Daniel and Carla stop with those awful slurpy kissing noises please?" while someone else said: "Do they have the kissing sound effects turned up for Carla and Daniel? @itvcorrie #slurrrpppp."
Another viewer added: "Daniel and Carla kissing is a very sickly sight and sound."
Last month, Rob Mallard confirmed the rumours that his character Daniel would have a shock fling with Carla, following reports that they'd be getting passionate this year.
Speaking about the new romance for Daniel, Corrie boss Kate Oates suggested: "I think that people will go, 'Oh! That's a slightly crazy pairing!' I don't want to give too much away.
"It's one of those slightly unusual dynamics where, if you think about it, you can see what each of them is getting out of the relationship, but on paper you might think, 'Oh, that's a surprise'.
"But I would encourage the viewers who are wrong-footed by it, in a way that they are uncomfortable with it, to think about what each character might be getting out of this little fling and it will hopefully make more sense."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
